Eating: Anchor & Hope
If you’re looking for a new gem in the FiDi or SOMA neighborhoods, this might be it. Anchor & Hope is tucked down Glancing at the short, dead-end alleyway that Anchor & Hope is located on, no one would find a fathomable reason to venture down it, away from the hustle of 2nd and Mission Street. Once you step inside, you almost can taste the fresh sea air — the space is well-lit with several large, opaque skylights, a mix of modern wood and metal tables, and accessorized by knotted ropes and spherical lights giving a hint of boat life. With a large range of shared appetizers, mains, and desserts, you can be sure to find something to satisfy your seafood cravings.
