ADVENTURE: Experimenting with new cocktail mixers! // DRINKING: Moscow Mules with Ficks cocktail mixer // CRAVE: One of these drinks every night!
One of my goals is to become better at making different types of cocktails and drinks. More often than not, I am either
a) enjoying wine because it is easy (and delicious, of course), or
b) my mixed drinks are dreadfully simple with just a splash of soda or juice with spirits.
If you’re looking for an awesome cocktail that tastes delightful and is super easy to mix, Ficks Premium Cocktail Mix is a great ingredient to add to your at-home bar! I’d heard about Ficks a bit from friends and was eager to try it out.
Bonus: Ficks is made with several vitamins and electrolytes to eliminate any future hangover from your libation indulgence. Now that’s my kind of cocktail!
Ficks has two kinds of mixers, one for Moscow mules and the other for margaritas. I love both drinks and opted to make the Moscow mules for my first attempt.
The Ficks Moscow Mule Recipe:
- 2 oz of Ficks mixer
- 1 oz of vodka or gin, whichever you prefer
- 1 oz of soda water or club soda
And voíla! It all came together!
I played around with my version a bit, adding some fresh squeezes of lime, a few mint leaves, and crushed ice.
So delicious and refreshing!
If you want to try out Ficks yourself, you can purchase it online or find it in one of many different local markets in San Francisco. Ficks also sells their mixer in a few other locations around the world, including Minnesota, Arkansas, and London!
